3, 2, 1....

So the countdown has begun. I depart for Brooklyn in just 41 days, and I could not be more excited. This experience is going to be amazing, life changing, and absolutely epic. I was mildly anxious about this earlier in the week, and I realized today that I shouldn't be, for two very important reasons:

1) I will be living in New York for 2 whole months (a dream)

2) I will be doing what I am passionate about (working with children in need)

Nothing else really matters. I am so excited to have this opportunity. and I can't wait for June 11.
